The Early Church Was Socialist — Deal With It

Acts 2:44-45 is clear: the early Christians held all things in common. This is the original Christian economic model.

The early Christian community described in the Book of Acts was one of radical sharing and mutual support: "All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need."

This description challenges modern capitalist assumptions about private property and individual accumulation. It reminds us that our faith should lead us to create communities of deep mutual care and economic sharing.
